Statement of Faith

The Scriptures

We believe that the scriptures of the Old & New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error. Also, we believe God’s Word is the foundation upon which the church operates and is the basis for which the church is governed.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, who came to convict the world of sin and to lead and empower every believer. Also, we believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as outlined in the New Testament and his present-day ministry of all biblical gifts according to the balanced instructions given to us in I Corinthians 12-14.

Sin

We believe that all people are born into a spiritual state of sin and that each person must be born again through Christ to enter into a relationship with God (John 3:3).

Ordinances

We believe that the Lord of the church, Jesus Christ, instituted two ordinances to the church: water baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper (Communion).

Eternity

We believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell. Those who are truly born again will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. In contrast, those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity in hell, separated from the Lord.

Christ’s Second Coming

We believe in the eventual Second Coming of Jesus Christ and establishing of His millennial kingdom. We also believe in the rapture of the church when all believers will meet the Lord in the air, to be taken out of this present world.

Marriage

We believe that God created male and female. He created both genders with a unique design, in order to compliment and complete each other. Also, we believe that God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and one of the core basic structures of human society.
